Pet Reflexology Massage for Dogs Massage for Horses
Cranial Decompression for Horses
During a session with your furry friend, Alison will incorporate different techniques and modalities into that session - these may include cerebral spinal fluid re-balancing, unwinding bodywork techniques, acupressure, essential oils, meridian tracing, fascial release work, energy healing and muscle testing.
Cranial Decompression for Horses:
Virtually every horse, at some point in their lives (and often repeatedly) has banged her head, fallen, or pulled back when tied. This can cause the bones in the head (known as the Cranial bones) to shift.
When your horse is tied and pulls back, the halter can and does push the top of the head downward - this motion can actually move the bones.
There are many symptoms that may not show up for a very long time, such as head tossing, head rubbing, spooking, allergies or auto-immune issues.
Your horse can be helped. Very similar to human cranio-sacral work, we can help the bones and all the associated structures in the skull re-align themselves. No force is used; specific handholds and energy work is used.
Animals have reflex points in their paws and legs, and by stimulating them we can increase relaxation and circulation and encourage a greater sense of well-being, resulting in a more balanced animal. Just like in people!
Reflexology promotes harmony & equilibrium in our pets' bodies, and is a great way to bond with your pet. By applying pressure to the feet, outer ears, and face you can have an effect on all the organs, structures, and glands. Reflexology can create a state of deep relaxation, and this is where your pet's body can return to a state of "balance", as much as is possible.
Reflexology improves circulation around internal organs, improves blood and lymphatic circulation, and lowers stress on the nervous system. It also helps the absorption of nutrients and the removal of wastes within your pet's body.
Our pets experience stress just like us, and Reflexology is one modality that can help them. Chronic stress is the most common cause of all illness and disease in pets and humans alike. Changes in the household, changes in a set routine, illness, and other stressors can be deeply unsettling to our pets.
Owners increasingly want to become empowered when it comes to the health of their pets.
If you are interested in learning what you can do for your pets, the upcoming "Pet Reflexology for Owners" workshop will be held the summer of 2017.
This workshop has been expanded from 4 hours to a full day workshop, and will include a colour manual with anatomy, acupressure points, meridians, reflex points and more!
You will learn techniques to reduce pain; what emotional stress release points are and how to use them; how to improve and maintain your pet's health, reduce anxiety and relax your pet.
Cost: $130 (Manual included)
Date: Saturday, July 22, 2017
Times: 9:30 am to 4:30 pm
Massage & Bodywork for Horses and Dogs:
Horses and dogs enjoy a massage just like people do. Some of the benefits of massage include:
- relaxation and reduction of stress
- reduction of swelling, especially lower limb swelling
- reduced pain, stiffness and discomfort
- improved muscle tone, flexibility and range of motion
- reduction of muscle tension and spasm
- faster healing of strained muscles and sprained ligaments
- stimulation of weak, inactive muscles
- improved body awareness
Massage and general bodywork are all designed to reduce pain and restore optimum performance in your pet's body.
Reducing tension in the shoulders, neck, head and pelvis allows your horse or dog to regain as much natural fluidity as possible and increase her range of motion. If you are looking for assistance with a specific issue, or simply want to treat your horse or dog to a relaxing massage, call!

Testimonials about the Hoof, Hand & Body Spray:
My horse is 11 and has arthritis; When I trim her feet, I have to give her breaks to rest her rear legs. I sprayed her butt muscles, and the inside and outside of her rear legs before trimming, and I didn't have to give her a break at all! I was impressed.
A friend of a friend fell off his bike and banged his elbow. We sprayed it on, and the next day all the heat and swelling was gone!

Using a proprietary micronization and activation process, Natural Cellular Defense isn’t just a superior product, it is the only zeolite product proven effective. These additional quality measures ensure optimal particle size (so that Natural Cellular Defense can be absorbed into your blood stream), the cage is cleaned (natural minerals including zeolite contain other compounds that fill the cage. The manufacturing process of Natural Cellular Defense includes a multi-step process to thoroughly clean the cage) and the cage has a maximum charge (so that toxins and metal can be drawn to and into it so they can be naturally excreted from your body) - without dumping those toxins into your blood stream, making you sick.
Our planet is full of toxins, in the air and our food, blocking our body's ability to absorb and utilize nutrition. A simple and easy detox with NCD2 at 5 drops 3 x a day for people (drink lots of distilled water) and 8-10 drops 1-2 x a day for a horse helps to “passively” clear the liver and kidneys so they can now absorb nutrition (horses drink lots of water already).
Approximately 3-4 bottles for people and 1 bottle for a horse under 8 year-old, 2 for under 15 years-old and 3 for 16 years and up. Don't hesitate to contact me if you would like to order.
